Sculptures Écorché Houdon Version 1
Human Anatomy. Ecorche by Jean Antoine Houdon (1741-1828) Écorché or Scorticato, that is to say, the Flaying, work of the French Jean-Antoine Houdon (1741-1828). He had made it in clay, then cast it in plaster, thanks to his knowledge and anatomical practices at the Hôpital de France in Rome in 1767, in the Church of San Luigi dei Francesi. It was, therefore, a key model for the students attached to the Académie de France in Rome, especially because of its perfect and studied anatomy, very instructive for the young artists in training. File type: blend, fbx
